Arrest made in quadruple homicide

An arrest has been made in a quadruple homicide in Toomsuba.


Mississippi Power announced Wednesday it needs more time to complete the $7 billion Kemper plant, which is now nearly three years behind schedule and more than $4 billion over budget.


A big warm up is expected to end the week with a cool down in store for the weekend.



The Meridian City Council made no action Tuesday night to determine how the city will handle upcoming municipal elections.
