Artists for The MAX Hall of Fame announced

The Mississippi artists chosen for the inaugural Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience were announced Thursday at a news conference in Jackson.


Citizens National Bank distributed $74,000 to area non-profits Tuesday through the W. R. Baird Charitable Trust and its own gift to The Montgomery Institute.


The suspect in an aggravated assault and police chase made his initial appearance in court Thursday.
