Authorities say arson is to blame in the latest Baptist church fire in West Alabama.

Saturday the Beaverton Freewill Baptist Church in Lamar County fell victim to fire. This make six definite cases of arson and four suspected arsons. All ten of the churches are Baptist; five have predominantly black congregations and five have predominantly white members. Investigators are looking for suspects.

"We believe this is two young adults, age is hard to say of course you know from eyewitnesses and our assessments of the two clusters of fires we think this is probably two young men, 20 to early 30s operating in that maturity level, not teenagers 15 year olds. We think they're buddies, partners, inseparable team." said ATF Agent Jim Cavanaugh.

As for motive for the arsons, authorities say it could be anger, a desire for revenge or excitement, vengeance against churches or religion, or simply frustrations in life.
