Choctaw Give Boost to Meridian Tourism

Choctaw leader, Miko Beasley Denson, was on hand for Meridian's the tree lighting ceremony Tuesday evening, where he presented the city with a $50,000 check.
"It's a state travel effort to promote tourism for the Meridian area, as well as Choctaw," said Denson. "We want to make sure we are good neighbors. But beyond that, we want to make sure we promote each other and bring more tourism to our area, and it's a good project. "
Miko Denson said he looks forward to another year of working closely with city officials to move the region forward.
