Citizens National Bank has partnered with Rush Health Systems to help needy kids.
Both are backing the salvation army through its angel tree adoption program. People may choose a specific child from the angel tree...And then provide that child's Christmas wishes listed on the card.
"One of the things that we like to do is help the needy. And by doing this with The Salvation Army, we know that children in need will get Christmas. And some of the children here in our area would not get Christmas if it weren't for banks and other businesses in our area. We've always participated in the Angel Tree," said Diane Burnham of Citizens National Bank. "And this year all of our 8 locations will have an Angel Tree."
When you see Angel Trees, which are also placed in shopping areas, you may pick a child and sign up with The Salvation Army. It will provide information on when the toys and gifts should be returned to them for distribution.
