Kutless Concert Benefits Habitat for Humanity

The Meridian-Lauderdale County NAACP hosts its 23rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Breakfast Monday, Jan. 21, at 8 a.m.
It will be held at the Boys and Girls Club, 1717 45th Avenue in Meridian. Tickets are $6.00 per person at the door.
The featured speaker is Rep. Jim Evans, a member of the Mississippi House, representing Hinds County. The native of Newton, Miss., was elected in 1991.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a national holiday, observed on the third Monday of January. King's birthday is Jan. 15.
