The United Way of East Mississippi is at 80 percent of its goal with three weeks left in the campaign.
The organization has activities set for Thursday in Dumont Plaza, to be held in conjunction with WTOK's live Town Hall Meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Camping for the Campaign is an effort to draw attention to the continuing need for funding for United Way agencies. Officials would like to reach 100% of the $800,000 goal by Mar. 1.

After the Town Hall Meeting on WTOK Channel 11, The United Way Board of Directors will have a campout from 7 p.m. until. The city will set up its Command Center at the Plaza with police and fire protection.
