Mission Meridian and the city of Meridian are inviting participation in the 7th Annual Mayor's Leadership Prayer Breakfast next week. It will be held at Word of Truth Worship Center in Meridian.

Officials say the theme is "Moving Forward in 2009", based on Philippians 3:13-14. The featured speaker is Mayor Johnny DuPree of Hattiesburg.

"As we all know that Hattiesburg is growing and they're being very successful in bringing new businesses and people moving into their area," said Charlotte Scott of Mission Meridian. "So we're excited for him coming to Meridian and want to hear what he has to say."
