Meridian, Miss. The 59Twenty Music Festival, sponsored by the Young Professionals of Meridian, is Saturday on the front lawn of Meridian City Hall from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The festival benefits Care Lodge Domestic Violence Shelter.
The headliner for this year's festival is the Marshall Tucker Band. Other acts include Rosco Bandana, Nelo, and Surviving Allison. Local artists will also perform in between the main acts.
"We encourage everybody to bring lawn chairs and blankets and just plan to stay for the day," said Meredith Rea, president of YPM.
Tickets cost $20 in advance and $30 at the gate the day of the show. Children ages 12 and under get into the festival free of charge.
