Children across the nation are getting ready for Halloween trick-or-treating.

In Meridian, a city ordinance stipulates that only children 12 and younger may trick-or-treat. The city curfew is 10 p.m. Saturday.

There will be trick-or-treating at Bonita Lakes Mall for children 12 and under Saturday, starting at 6 p.m., while supplies last. In keeping with mall security policy, full-face masks may not be worn by anyone over the age of 12.

Here's another note for residents of Enterprise, Miss. Mayor Larry Murray has announced it will have Halloween trick-or-treating on Thursday Oct. 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Drivers in all areas are encouraged to use extra care and keep an eye out for children crossing streets.
