The 6th Annual Burning Tiki Man celebration is coming to Meridian Saturday, October 23rd.
From 2 p.m. until midnight, owners of T&T Tattoo Art Gallery in Meridian on Highway 39 North will host the event.
There will be a children's costume contest at 4p.m. and one for the adults at 7 and 9p.m. Live music will be playing all day.
Organizers started the event out of inspiration from different cultures.
"One was African culture, one was Polynesian culture, Native American culture, North American Indian culture, South American culture. And I put those different implements together to make burning tiki man," explains Billy 'Spacey' Lyons, one of the owners of T&T Tattoo Art Gallery.
