I hope this community can come together to create a school district that is safe for all students and educators. Meridian has so much to offer and we do not need the school system to continue to hold our community back.

Parents for Public Schools (PPS) Meridian/Lauderdale ~ an emerging group ~ which will be a major point of contact for people to connect their concerns and ideas about our school districts with projects to improve student achievement by working WITH schools in positive and productive ways ~ encourages the entire community to come to this forum and stand with us as a diverse, yet unified group. PPS is convinced that by bringing together a diverse group of parents and community members who care about quality education in Meridian and Lauderdale County we will start to grow and strengthen the voice of the public as a rightful stakeholder in the decision making process of public school policy. PPS is working with the community of Meridian and Lauderdale County to make our public schools strong, empower parents as leaders for positive change, and engage the community in supporting our public schools.
