Kutless Concert Benefits Habitat for Humanity

The United Way of East Mississippi named John Anderson and Jim Briggs chairmen of the 2010-2011 campaign.
Anderson is vice-president of Anderson Regional Medical Center. He has worked in the healthcare industry for 24 years and served in administrative capacities in hospitals in Birmingham, Alabama and Tifton, Georgia.
He has served on the United Way Board in Georgia, as well as serving multiple terms on the United Way of East Mississippi Board since 1992.
Briggs is general sales manager with WTOK-TV and its sister stations Meridian CW and MyTOK2. He has been in television in Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, West Virginia and Mississippi markets for over 35 years.
Briggs has been a United Way volunteer since 1984. He has served on the Executive Board for the United Way of Florence South Carolina and most recently served as campaign co-chair for the United Way of East Mississippi’s 2009 campaign.
The United Way will officially kick off the campaign later this year and announce its fundraising goal.
