The goal of having the Community Clearing House is to make sure there is no duplication of services.
Officials say Wesley House is now taking referrals. You may reach the organization at 601-485-4736.
They say this clearing house will allow the agencies to make sure resources are being used in the most responsible manner.
"It's going to establish a more comprehensive and holistic take on helping and doing case work in this community, so we take care of the right now issues and the emergency issues, and we also look to help the clients for the long term," said Ginger Stevens, executive director of Wesley House.
Approximately 22 agencies will be represented.
