LOVE's Kitchen director, Fannie Johnson, said the community has come together and provided what will be needed for 500 meals.
Johnson said one wonderful thing about Christmas is that it reminds people of the need that exists year-round in our community.
"Tomorrow we have maybe six, seven different families or groups coming in," Johnson said. "We have about 30-40 volunteers coming. We have all the help we need and all the food we need. We just want to say thank you and wish everybody Merry Christmas."
LOVE's Kitchen will serve breakfast and lunch on Christmas Day. Lunch will offer ham and turkey, plus vegetables and desserts.
