Eager holiday shoppers had another chance to get some early shopping done and a sneak peek at the latest items.

Some of them did that at the Lauderdale County Farm Supply. Saturday was the Farm Supply's last day for their open house. And for those excited shoppers who went to the Farm Supply, they were treated to gift bags and the possibility to win door prizes.

Tommie McCarty, the Christmas shop manager, says the store is open and going full force.

"Just all out mesmerizing. It is definitely a Christmas wonderland in here and we do have just about everything on sale. All of the Christmas decorations are 25% off, Christmas trees are 50% off, so now is a great time to come in and get everything you need to decorate for the holidays," exclaims McCarty.

If you are ready to start shopping, you can Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Lauderdale County Farm Supply is located at 203 49th Avenue South just off the interstate at Exit 151.

I will agree the co-ops prices are high[whose aren't nowadays] but not out of line with others around town.I could save 10 or 20 cents by gong somewhere else but since they have friendly staff that has in most cases knowledge in what I need I choose to go there. If Tractor Supply does come to town I will check them out and if they can beat the co-op service, selection and price I will give them some of my business on high dollar items. However unless the co-op is owned by a total idiot which I doubt they will adjust prices as needed.JUST REMBEMBER WHEN YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY AT A LOCALY OWNED BUISNESS MOST OF THE PROFITS STAYS LOCAL.[Haven't been in Wally World in over 3 years]

JEFF, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT? YES, THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH BUT I DON'T THINK THEY WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

Tractor's Supply is coming to town and going to put them out of business. The "co-op"s prices are sky high.
