Absentee ballots are available in Mississippi circuit clerk offices for those who are eligible to vote early in the June 3 primaries. Circuit clerks advise voters to look ahead at their schedules to see if they qualify to vote by absentee ballot.
Registered voters who will be out of town for any reason, or unable to get to the polls during voting hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and those who are 65 and older may cast an absentee ballot.
In addition to regular office hours this week, all Mississippi circuit clerk offices will be open Saturday, May 24, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon for absentee voting.
