The weather cooperated for the return of a downtown tradition that many have been looking forward to, the Earth's Bounty Farmer's Market sale.
The popular event began its second season on Saturday with even more vendors than last year and plenty of fruits, vegetables, and other home-grown items. Last year, Earth's Bounty began in June, but because of its huge success, it returned early this year. The award for best booth this month went to the Potting Shed.
The next farmer's market sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 4th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Singing Brakeman Park.
