Livingston, Ala. Sumter County Water Authority says the recent extremely cold weather has caused problems for the system and customers.
Manager Dexter Arrington says the utility is experiencing slow downs and other issues.
Arrington asked customers to assist SCWA by reporting any leaks and breaks to service lines and mains, as it tried to recover from the unusual circumstances.
Arrington said full recovery will require a number of days to get the affected areas and all systems back to normal operations. He thanked customers for their patience during this process.
