Officials in Sumter County say there is a great need for people to adopt children from The Salvation Army's Angel Tree there.
The Department of Human Resources says many of the county's children have not yet been adopted for Christmas, putting them in danger of not getting gifts.
Angel Trees have been placed at Regions banks in York and Livingston, at West Alabama Bank, and at the Bank of York.
