Sunday's weather set the mood for some fun, fall activity. Members of two local churches partnered together in order to hold a fall festival.
Salem Baptist Church and Toomsuba Baptist Church members teamed up to host a fall festival for both of the church congregations. It was held Sunday at Circle S Ranch.
Church members say they hold this festival to reach children and families in the community.
"Yes! We've had an excellent response to this. And I think the two churches that are gathered here today, are having a great time in the Lord," exclaims Pastor Tom Wood of Salem Baptist Church.

"Oh yeah, our folks are very excited about this time of the year in particular, not only because we got the rain this year, but it is a great time for us to get excited about Christmas and Thanksgiving, and the fall Harvest that we all celebrate," says Pastor James David Caves of Toomsuba Baptist Church.
The activities were endless at the festival. There was a hay ride, animals to pet, and a blow up bouncy house. And when the participants tired out from all of that, there was hot food waiting.
