There were games, songs, and plenty of pizza and cola at a surprise Christmas party for the children in daycare at Wesley House.
WTOK throws a party for the kids every year before Christmas.
One said, "This is the bestest day that I ever saw in my life."
And staff members with Wesley House say it's the attention and love these children feel that make the WTOK Wesley House Christmas Party such a hit every year.
These young children are loaded on a van, and the next thing they know, they have all the arcade games they can play right in front of them.
"For many years, WTOK has done this for a group of kids that otherwise might not have a happy Christmas," said WTOK general manager Tim Walker. "And this gives them an opportunity to get together, have some fun, visit with Santa, get presents and make their Christmas brighter."
Speaking of the big man in red, he made a grand entrance, bringing all the kids toys.
And the adults in the room got to see that look of excitement on the kids' faces as they tore through the wrapping paper.
"These kids love it," said WTOK account executive Jane Pritchard. "They get to see Santa Claus and play the games, eat pizza and drink Coke, run around. They get to spend time with the news people and they love that, too."
"They crave attention, so this is so exciting for them, because they don't get that all the time," said Andy Hodges of Wesley House.
And during this party, it's all about the kids and making sure they have a Christmas to remember.
