QUITMAN, MISS, (WTOK) - It was a day full of fun and entertainment in Quitman on Saturday.
The 26th Forestry and Wildlife Festival was put on by the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce. The annual event consisted of a ton of family fun. Many vendors, a lot of food, games, pony rides, crafts and even a car show was going on. Organizers of the event say there were over 50 vendors showing what they have to offer.
"This year, to me, it seems like we have more people than we have had in the past. We have extra food vendors out here, so we have been enjoying the good food and the good crafts," Chamber of Commerce member Lynnita Bartee says.
“It just brings the whole community together and feels more unified, which I think is more important than ever these days," Michael Grace says.
Money raised helps fund the various projects the Chamber of Commerce has throughout the year.
