Choctaw release name of homicide victim

CHOCTAW, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians has released the identity of a man found dead Nov. 2 at a residence on Frank Simpson Road in the Tucker community.

He was 35-year-old Demetrius Duane Sam, who lived in Tucker.

Four men have been charged in Tribal Court with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder: Monty Isaac, 32; Kenan Martin, 25; Jerome Vincent Steve, 32; and and Keyshawn Willis, 20.

All four suspects are being held without bond. The MBCI says the investigation is continuing.

The FBI assisted the Choctaw Police Department.
