Entertainment announced for Choctaw Indian Fair

CHOCTAW, Miss. (WTOK) - The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Monday announced the lineup for the 68th Annual Choctaw Indian Fair July 12-15.

Acts scheduled for the main stage include Dan + Shay, Hunter Hayes and The Band Perry.

The fair officially begins with the opening ceremonies and Choctaw Indian Princess Pageant July 12.

Dan + Shay, Hunter Hayes and The Band Perry headline shows at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Choctaw Social Dancing and cultural displays will be showcased at the big stage nightly before the musical performances.

Immediately following the shows, the World Series of Stickball games will be played at Warrior Stadium with the World Series Stickball Championship Game capping off the last night of the fair, July 15 at 10:15 p.m..

Pre-fair activities start Tuesday, July 11, with Gospel Night at the Amphitheater Stage, reduced price carnival ride rates and stickball games.
