Happy Friday! We’re waking up this morning to temperatures in the low-40’s in most spots, though some places in the northern parts of our area are in the upper-30’s. Skies cleared out yesterday by the afternoon, and those clear skies will stick around for your Friday. We’ll get a little bit warmer, with a high around 69, though some spots could reach that 70 degree mark. It’ll be a bit breezy, with north-northeast winds at 10-15 mph, decreasing by the late afternoon into the evening. Temperatures will drop off quickly overnight, getting into the upper-30’s by right before sunrise Saturday morning. The majority of us will reach that 70 degree mark for your Veterans Day with mostly sunny skies.
Winds will shift to a more southerly breeze on Sunday with the approach of another cold front, this will bring some moisture to our area, but with the models trending towards weakening the front, we’ll only have a chance of a loan shower, especially in southern parts of our area. Otherwise, there will be mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. The front will just drop our temperatures off a bit for Monday with decreasing clouds, and we’ll have plenty of sunshine thru Thursday with temperatures rising gradually into mid-70’s by then. Next chances of rain will not be until at least Friday.
