Guilty verdict in former MSU player's trial

SCOTT COUNTY, Miss. (WTOK) - A former Mississippi State and Morton football player has been found guilty in a shooting death case. A Scott County jury has found Quay Evans guilty of manslaughter and aggravated assault. The incident happened two years ago at a house in Morton. Investigators say the person who died was shot in the head, and someone else was injured. Evans is facing more than 30 years in prison. He's set to be sentenced on Friday, June 15th.
