CLARKE COUNTY, Miss. (WTOK) - So far, there has been a higher than usual turnout Tuesday for voting in Clarke County.
Newscenter 11 caught up with officials at the Rolling Creek precinct about an hour after polls opened.
Officials there were also reporting a higher than normal turnout.
Some school board elections are on the ballot. However, election officials say the big draw has been the referendum about whether to permit the sale of alcohol and beer in the county.
Polls will close Tuesday at 7 p.m.
