LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (WTOK) - A Nanih Waiya man is behind bars after allegedly trying to entice a child through social media.
40-year-old Edward Lee Stevens was arrested and charged with one count of child enticement. Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says a mother became concerned after noticing Stevens was trying to contact her child through social media. Investigators were able to track down and arrest Stevens thanks to cooperation from the victim.
Stevens was released on a $20,000 bond.
