CHOCTAW COUNTY, Ala. (WTOK) - Customers of Black Warrior Electric in Choctaw County were without power for several hours Tuesday morning. It affected an estimated 1800 customers at the height of the outage at about 6:20 a.m.
Operations manager, Robbie Rose, says a broken conductor caused the problem.
Service had been restored to the Silas and Melvin substations as of 11:15 a.m.
Rose says service to the Gilbertown substation should be complete by 12:30 p.m. and all customers should have their power.
