MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Roy Moore's communications director John Rogers has resigned.

The resignation comes as the campaign fights to deny accusations from multiple women that Moore pursued or sexually assaulted them when they were in their teens and he was in his 30s. CNN reports that a senior campaign adviser says Rogers didn't have the experience to deal with the level of scrutiny brought on by the national media. Moore has denied the allegations and says he will not drop out of the race.
