Suspect sought in burning assault

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WTOK) - The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement in south Mississippi are asking for help from the public to find 43-year-old Jerry Glenn Willis. He's wanted for domestic aggravated assault and kidnapping after a woman was found burned alive.

The victim, 46-year-old Stacy Mitchell Frank, was found shortly after
11 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 11 in Pearl River County. She had been doused with gasoline, set afire and left beside the road. Frank was taken to a local hospital for treatment and then transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Burn Unit in Jackson.

Both the suspect and victim list 130 George Mitchell Road, Picayune as their home address. The suspect may be traveling in a black 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV, license plate PTW 112.

Anyone who has information about Willis is asked to call 911. MBI says do not attempt to approach or interact with Willis, who is considered dangerous.

Poplarville police and deputies of the Pearl River Sheriff’s Office are assisting MBI’s investigation.
