Happy Thursday! Rain showers are moving through our area early this morning moving from west to east and should clear out most of the area by sunrise, with some lingering showers until around 9 am for parts of west Alabama. We’ll have clearing skies throughout the rest of the day with a high only around 63 degrees. Winds will be from the north at 8-12 mph. It’ll be mostly clear area-wide overnight, and that will help drop the low temperatures into the low-40s’s and some upper-30’s can’t be ruled out in northern parts of our area. We’ll stay dry throughout the weekend, with a gradual warming trend in store, with highs getting into the 70’s by Veterans Day.
Another weak cold front will push through our area Sunday, and recent model runs are showing this front to be less and less intense and thus at this time won’t be bringing rain chances to our area, just a few more clouds and a slight reinforcing shot of cooler air to start next week.
