Tuesday, November 14 Morning Forecast Discussion

By  |

Happy Tuesday! There is some light patchy fog in some areas this morning, but not enough to cause any concerns and any of that should fade away by 8 am. Temperatures are starting out in the upper-30’s to low-40’s, but will climb into the low-70’s as our highs as the sun will be shining bright with barely a cloud in the sky today. Winds will be from the east-northeast at 3-8 mph. Clear skies will continue through the overnight hours with lows dipping down into the low-40’s and upper-30’s once again. A weak cold front will pass by Wednesday, and that’ll just bring us a few more clouds.

Temperatures will continue to climb through the week, with a peak high temperature of 76 degrees by Friday. These warm temperatures will come to a screeching halt Saturday, as a cold front moves through. Models have yet to converge on a timing for this front, but the trend is that the front has been slowing down even further, and may not move through until Saturday morning. I’m not convinced by the slowing down of the front just yet so I’ll keep with the rain chances for only Saturday morning, but this is subject to change. What is for sure is that it’ll bring much cooler temperatures for the weekend and into the start of next week, with highs in the upper-50’s to low-60’s and lows creeping down towards the freezing mark.
