Two charged with possession of meth in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTOK) - Columbus police report making two arrests after a routine traffic stop over the weekend.

Officers stopped a vehicle Saturday about 6:45 p.m. for an alleged traffic violation. During the stop officers report finding a felony amount of methamphetamine.

The driver, Warren Wright, and passenger Jacob Stewart were arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Bond for each suspect was set at $20,000.
