Happy Wednesday! Patchy fog is possible in some spots once again this morning, otherwise we are seeing mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low-to-mid-70s as we begin our day. Today will be similar to yesterday in that we’ll see partly cloudy skies, highs in the low-to-mid-90s, and pop-up storms mainly forming in the afternoon. A storm will be possible early this evening but most of us will be under mostly clear skies overnight.
We’ll see partly cloudy skies, highs in the mid-90s, and pop-up storm chances each day from Thursday through Sunday. A high temperature in the upper-90s can’t be ruled out for the weekend. We’ll be watching a disturbance that could possibly increase rain chances Monday and Tuesday. Due to a lot of uncertainty that arises from being this far out, I’m leaving us with only pop-up storm chances for now with mostly cloudy skies.
Hurricane Chris is now a category 2 hurricane but is moving away from the east coast of the United States. The remnants of Beryl have a 50% chance of redeveloping over the next 5 days though that disturbance will not be a threat to the mainland United States.
