YORK, Ala. (WTOK) -- Residents in York are experiencing several issues with their water due to the cold weather.
The city says there are several broken water lines, including broken water lines on personal property.
One of the city's two water wells also has a broken water line from the cold weather.
The issue is causing low water pressure and a possible loss of water in parts of the city. City staff is working to repair lines to restore water pressure.
Water customers are urged to please check their own lines for leaks or breaks and have them repaired.
Mayor Gena Robbins says they expect to have close to normal water pressure by Thursday afternoon.
