Disney's "Cinderella" has come to The Roxy Theater in Newton. The musical is based on the animated cartoon.

Thirty-one children from various schools in the area are in the play. The Roxy Theater has one youth production every year.

The director says the production has been a lot of work, but it has a lot of fun as well.

"We're doing two days of school performances," said youth director, Julie Rowzee. "There are three performances each day. And it gives kids an opportunity that normally wouldn't get to come to anything like this."

Public performances will also be held next week.
