Breast Cancer Awareness was the focus of the "Oh So Pink" Celebration Thursday evening in Meridian.
Marshall Florist hosted the event to coordinate with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer survivor, Sarah King, said she's glad the event was held to create awareness about early detection and to celebrate those fighting the disease.
"It's hard to put into words how I feel," said King. "The community thought enough about survivors and it just couldn't be any better. I look forward to next year."
The "Oh So Pink" event raised over $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.
