This is National Health Center Week. As part of the observance, Greater Meridian Health Clinic is stressing the importance of washing your hands.
Germs, viruses, and sickness in general can often be prevented by simply washing hands often and correctly.
Officials stress using hot water, washing under fingernails, and washing for 20 seconds before rinsing hands for 10 seconds.
After drying your hands, use the same paper towel to turn off the water to prevent re-contamination.
