The show aired portions of the kickoff to her Best Life Challenge, that was shot Friday at Dumont Plaza. With her was her personal trainer and author, Bob Greene.
Oprah Winfrey challenging people across the country who have weight problems to lose the weight this year and and keep it off.
Oprah interviewed several area residents about their struggles with weight.
The show featured the story of Jeff Bailey, who once weighed 770 pounds, but has now lost almost 150 pounds and is trying to lose more. He works out five days a week at a gym.
