Riley Hospital hosted an open house Tuesday at its Wound Healing Center.

The center has expanded and is located on the second floor of the annex building at Riley Hospital.

It has increased the number of treatment rooms from three to eight, and has added another two hyperbaric chambers.

"We're actually partnered with a national company. We actually heal 95% of all of our wounds within 16 weeks. So 95% of the people that walk in the door will heal their wounds within less than 4 months," said Lavisa Robinson, director of the Wound Healing Center.

Robinson said around 70 percent of the center's patients are diabetics. Three physicians are on staff Monday through Friday to treat these needs
