Meridian, Miss. Several people came out Saturday night to take part in "Zumba for a Cure" as part of a unique event.
Northeast Middle School in Meridian hosted the second annual Zumba Glow Party to benefit Margaret McCay's Relay for Life team. The team is made up of cancer survivor's and their children. Several in attendance took to the dance floor to exercise while sporting glow in the dark face pain, nails, and hair. McCay says she's honored that Best Bodies Gym would support this in her honor.
'It's just, it's heartwarming," McCay says. "I've been going to Best Bodies way before I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I took zumba classes before cancer and I'm still taking zumba, and I'm still fighting ovarian cancer.
Last year, organizers raised about $700 with a goal of $1,000 this year.
