Mississippi Has Two New Confirmed West Nile Cases

Two newly reported West Nile virus cases in Forrest and Pearl River counties bring the total number in Mississippi this year to 15.

There has been one West Nile virus death this year. The victim
was a Jones County resident.

Cases have been reported this year in Coahoma, Forrest, Hinds,
Jones, Marion, Pearl River, Tallahatchie and Wayne counties.
