Anderson Welcomes New CEO

The new CEO of Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center has been on the job for a short time, but said he's honored to follow in the footsteps of Mark McPhail.

William Casey said he believes it's most important to protect and continue the momentum the hospital has achieved in its long history.

Casey said it's a challenging time for health care providers, as well as other industry. But he says the hospital is blessed with a strong medical staff and dedicated employees.

"We will continue searching for ways to improve every aspect of our hospital, whether it's in improving patient relations, physician relations, and maintaining new, creative ways to provide excellence in medicine," said Casey. "And I think we're going to continue to serve and meet the community's expectations."

Casey said he considers Anderson a market leader. He hails from from Wilmington, North Carolina.
