The Mississippi Department of Health has approved a certificate of need for Neshoba General Hospital to acquire Air Park Clinic in Philadelphia.

The building will be used as a physicians clinic. No new construction or renovation will be needed. The total cost will be about $2.7 million.

State hospitals must obtain a certificate of need before moving ahead with any expansion project.
