Awards were presented Tuesday to individuals who participated in "Scaleback Alabama".
Hill Hospital in York was one of the weigh-in sites for the statewide campaign to shed excess weight.
In fact, people from this site lost a collective 667 pounds.
The top teams and individual "losers" were recognized with certificates and prizes.
Kim Parker and Clara Gibbs tied for biggest loser among women, each losing 26 pounds.
"Go for it. Scale back. Change your lifestyle, bad habits and bad eating habits. Do away with all the junk food," advised Gibbs. "Get motivated to do better healthwise. Get active in whatever you like doing."
Gibbs said she would like to lose a hundred more and intends to stay on track with what has proven successful her her this year.
The statewide goal was for anyone overweight to lose at least 10 pounds, by making smarter eating choices and exercising.
Teams weighing in a Hill Hospital placed in this order:
1st place -The Dunlaps lost 80 pounds
2nd place - Fabulous Four lost 58 pounds
3rd place - The Finest lost 37 pounds
Biggest Looser Male - Derrick Harris lost 31 pounds
Biggest Looser Female - Kim Parker and Clara Gibbs lost 26 pounds
