Boil Water Advisory in Quitman

A boil water notice is in effect for Quitman residents who are served by the North Jackson Water Well.

Officials said water pressure fell below minimum requirements in certain areas, so the advisory was issued as a precaution.

Mayor Eddie Fulton said the areas affected include N. Jackson, Lynda St., Northwood Dr., Montrose Rd. and East Quitman.
