United Blood Services is teaming with WTOK to encourage people to donate to the ongoing need for blood.

Our annual Mash Bash Blood Drive is set for Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Temple Theatre Ballroom, 8th Street and 24th Avenue, in Meridian.

The holidays are typically a time of high need and low donations for United Blood Services, which supplies local and area hospitals with blood needed to save lives in emergencies and for surgeries.
