Staff members of a local hospital are starting a new method of educating the public about what to expect during a pregnancy.
Employees of Meridian's Riley Hospital Thursday night kicked off the 'Cuddle Bugs' Program. This is a new, online program that will provide information about pregnancy, from beginning to end. People who deliver at Riley's will be able to benefit from this online tool.
"They can go online. It shows all of the stages, the pictures. It has information on nutrition and exercise, different medications you can take. All of the questions that new moms have that they are not sure about," explains Sharon Futch, a recruiter for Riley's Hospital.
Hospital employees are hoping this program gives expectant mothers and families the confidence they need to birth and raise their children.
